Here is an interesting article about Pirates 4 and 3D.

"According to Len Klady's Sunday reporting, 66% of Pirates 4 screens were 3D screens and Disney told him that just 48% of the box office gross came from those screens".

For those who saw the movie, did you watch it in 2D or 3D?

I saw it in 3D and it was way too dark.

I saw Pirates 4 in 2d and 3D. That is one thing I hate about 3D movies, they are always darker than the 2D version so your not getting the normal brightness at which the movie was supposed to run at.

I saw it in regular 2D. The 3D just seemed like a gimmick to me so many other movies these days.

I saw it in 2D. 3D hurts my eyes.

3D, only complaint I have is the 3D made the film really dark, but I could still see what was happening.

I can't support the 3D thing. It's not worth the money a lot of the times and you tend to get a better experience watching a movie regularly.

I haven't seen it yet, but id watch it in 2D. Especially from hearing the comments of the 3D making it darker. I rather watch movies in 2D than 3D.

I saw it in 3D and it just looks like the 3D was not used correctly in this movie.

Compered to the trailers before the movie, it looks like the movie was 2D. The brightness was no problem for me.

Here is my detailed review of my 3D experience with this movie
