Parting Shot

Why are all topics about the new rainbow Gamespot logo being locked? It's a legitimate issue. I support same sex marriage 100%, and fully realize the historical significance of the supreme court ruling. However, this is a gaming website and should not promote any one special interest above any others. It's all about equality you see. Don't bother responding. I won't be back.

I can clear that up:

Two of those threads were from the same user--one of them is at best, a blog post stating that the city where Gamespot originates from and the site itself is socialist, and vows to leave. At worst, it's a thread calling for attention with someone stating that they're leaving, with no hope of a legit discussion. The second thread he made is a request asking to have his account deleted. Neither one really discusses the logo.

Yours was locked because there was already a thread asking if they were changing the site to "Gayspot". No need for a 2nd thread asking the exact same question.

Hope my answers cleared things up. You said you won't respond, so we're gonna close this one as well. I sincerely wish you the best if you decide to leave.

By the way--if anyone feels I was unjust in closing any of these threads, you can always report me to the admins and inform them of my actions.
