I love hearing new bands from OT. People have great taste when it comes to the media industry, hense this is why I created this thread. Add your top 4 and honorable mentions if you'd like!

I'm sorry, but that's how it came off. I know a good number of people that think they're above others because they listen to music from a different time period...I personally think it's just childish to feel that way about your music. Good music is good music, whether it's old or new shouldn't really matter.

I agree. I thought I got a "I listen to music from the 80s, unlike you plebs" vibe from his original post as well.

YEP...notice I have Justin Timberlake in there...he's recent..I like some Neo,Lady Ga Ga,Katy Pery,I like some old Limp Bizkit,Kid Rock,Greenday,Metalica,TONS AND TONS OF HAIR BANDS..umm...I listen to LOTS of 80s music from pop,to rap,rock,punk ect..Growing up when I did there was a surgance of EVERYTHING and with MTV,BET and VH1 coming into play,I got to be a part of all it..IF you werent around then, you really missed such an incredible time in musical history...I love soundtracks from The Little Mermaid, Top Gun,Indiana Jones,Star Wars,LOST,..my preference would kind of blow you away..as its so full of everything from what some call lame and embarrassing to the top of the chain..Never really cared what others thought..Everyone finds that "something" in different things..

I agree wth MadVybz , I like to listen to anything tht sounds good, but knw tht at the end it depends on your taste & your mood2. Me myself I like to try anything. Death, thrash, heavy, groove, metalcore, black, death black, post metal, pop, indie pop, house, trance, jazz, funk, rock, folk.............
