O.J. may be finished with the past, but the past isn't done with him. The LAPD is testing a knife that was found buried at O.J. Simpson's former estate where the infamous double homicide took place. More details in the link below.

LAPD investigating possible new evidence in the O.J. murder case.

What do you guys think?

The knife was apparently turned over to a police officer a number of years ago by a person doing construction work at the property, a law enforcement source said.

Years ago...mmmm. Maybe the retiring police officer is a fan of The People v. O.J. Simpson?

Hopefully the knife is real evidence and they are able to bring the killer to justice. Personally I believe O.J. killed them but we shall see.

Who cares. We all know OJ did it but he can't be tried again. He's in jail where he belongs anyways.

This really changes nothing.

Yeah, so the knife was turned over years earlier, but it was "overlooked" during the investigation? Red flag! Doesn't make a bit of difference, though. He can't be tried for it again, but this will just further solidify the guilty verdict in the "court of public opinion". Simpson had his chance to, essentially, get away with murder. All he had to do was stay out of trouble; and he couldn't even get that right. So, needless to say, he's where he should be. And, he'll be there for the rest of his life.

The guy was framed. The lapd at the time was one of the most inept and racist law enforcement agencies in the western world.

Sad that anyone believes he was framed.

Glove didn't fit, plus he had presence of mind to supposedly take the knife with him and dump it in Chicago, but a bloody glove, which will have the most damning evidence, he just tosses in his yard. Then we're led to believe a small cut on his finger left nearly a pint of blood at the crime scene, bronco, and at his house. And every single one of the prosecutions supposed witnesses, landed a damn book deal before the trial.

When you're in a hurry to clean up before hopping in a limo you tend to drop stuff. Also the gloves shrink when wet....at least that brand...and therefore when soaked in blood one would become wet. As for the blood at the crime scene that was the victims with a bit of OJ's mixed in. Not a pint of his blood.

I thought double jeopardy doesn't apply if new evidence is introduced? Only if on the same basis as the original trial?

Even if this is the knife and has his DNA all over it, i heard they can't put him on trial again for it for some legal reason. No idea why because im not a lawyer. Unless he can get put in trial all over again in civil court, but he was already found guilty in that and had to pay off his murder victims way back.

Like the person said above, something to do with double jeopardy whatever that means, so even if the knife is the murder weapon, they can't have a new trial i guess.

He's already serving an unrelated sentence (though undoubtedly that sentence and the charges they came from were vindication for getting off the previous trial). Again, he's already serving his sentence, so go after that bitch who killed her kid that got off, Casey Anthony.

He was already civilly sued and lost so I think that's a dead end too. Article mentions it's still possible in federal court but doesn't see that as a likely outcome.
