In my home, Santa Claus or Christmas never existed. Only on tv, i learned about it. My dad didn't believe in birthday's, holidays, parties, family trips, or having credit or cars. Christmas, as big as a holiday never happened in my home growing up. I've learned to appreciate everything in my life 10 times more then the normal person. Anyone else out there have similar growing up life style ? It seems mean, but in the end i give away almost all i have, and i give my kids everything they want. Whatever my dad tried to do, didn't work, lol ..
