In this weeks box office results the heroes in a half-shell reined supreme dominating the box office and proving that crappy 300 was nothing more than an overhyped disappointment. I'm glad to say that I didn't believe the hype and see that mindless movie that got mostly mediocre reviews. 300 was hyped to be the greatest movie ever from a lot of people and it couldn't even last 3 weeks on top in the box office and this week it just barely beat out Shooter for 2nd place. I would like to congratulate the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...or TMNT as the kids call them these days...on having a second run of popularity and finishing 1st at the box office this weekend. i hope this thread is a joke. what did turtles rake in, what? all of 20 somethin' mill? 300 first weekend, 70 mill. well, really i don't care, but this turtles movie is an insult to true fans of the turtles.
300 opened at 70 mil, which is extremly high for a March movie, and an R rated movie. If you have not seen it you have no right to say it is overrated.
