Nick and disney have those stupid kid sitcoms on them. Have you ever seen the acting on those? Oh... it's... it's... it's a thing of beauty really.
lol yeah, a thing of true beauty they are. That is exactly what I was about to say. Stuff like "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody", and "iCarly". At least Cartoon Network hasn't gotten so much of that stuff yet, and they have the Adult Swim block to appeal to other age groups which is nice.
CN kind of infuriates me though. They started out as a network that showed primarily Hanna-Barbera shows, but as soon as Warner came into the picture they did away with a lot of their classic programming and original programming. I think they have the most successful line-up of shows overall right now. I still catch Adventure Time when I can, though admittedly it seems like it has lost some of its charm in recent years. I actually enjoy Steven Universe more, since it is more...um...human, lol.
That said, even though I think Disney has seriously fallen from grace in its glory days of Darkwing Duck and Rescue Rangers, and even Quack Pack, I think they have the best cartoon in their line-up right now with Gravity Falls. That show alone is pretty much the main reason to watch Disney these days, though they are making new episodes of DuckTales, so that could also be decent.
Nickelodeon is probably my pick. They have Legend of Korra, but it wasn't quite as likable as The Last Airbender... Still, I haven't kept up with it. I don't really watch Nickelodeon at all for anything anymore, except maybe some Full House reruns on Nick At Nite. And that's kind of a shame, because in the 90's I watched Nickelodeon all the time.
I think cartoons in general are on an upswing though. Compared to the last decade or so where they kind of took a dive.
