Nick Cage is a terrible actor IMO. The only role he was really good in was 'Raising Arizona'. I just don't understand how this guy gets as much work as he does.

I must be one of the few people in the world that truly enjoys Nicholas Cage as an actor. Won't see this though, don't want to support religious fundamentalism.

Just when I held a glimmer of hope that Nic Cage was going to redeem himself, he goes and does this religious fundamentalist bullshit.

The Cage is dead to me. Nothing can bring him back.

The premise is so bad, only Nic Cage can save this movie. You never know if he's serious in his acting.

yeah I'm a cage fan, way to many good films to ignore. My favorite cage films are

Con Air

9mm

Face Off

Bad Detective

Matchstick Men

Gone in Sixy Seconds

Kick Ass (Big Daddy :) )

Trespass

Leaving Las Vegas (Awesome Film)

Bringing Out The Dead

Snake eyes

All really good films, most with good acting from Cage.

He's so bad that he's amusing. He's his own gimmick; the mere fact that he's Nicolas Cage is entertaining.

Great list, but I even like his "lesser" stuff like National Treasure, Gone in 60 Seconds, etc. Like, he must be my "guilty pleasure" actor or something, lol.

You know, I've noticed that Hollywood seems to be spamming us with God movies lately. They must be enjoying the reaction of militant atheists who are against every one of them.

Hey, the dude needs money. As long as he gets a decent role every once in a while, what's the problem?

Imagine Nicholas Cage saying "They are going to try and steal the Nile river."

Sounds like something he would say in one of his movies, doesn't it?

He was excellent in Adaptation and Leaving Las Vegas. Anybody that can work right next to themselves playing a bipolar opposite and make it convincing is an all right actor in my book. He just makes really poor choices in what movies he does.

It's actually 8mm. It's also a terrible movie.

Wouldn't it make more sense to blame, like... the director and the writer?

I blame all that were involved. The original film was a classic, why would anyone think remaking it would be a good idea?
