The car scene. Whether you're into foreign cars, trucks, muscle, etc. it's all big here. It's the one thing I'll give CA.

I kinda like the gun laws; not as good as Texas, but almost on par.

That's definitely part of it but most parts of the country have an auto identity and CA is into all walks of vehicles.

Do people scratch your car in San Francisco if you're not driving a Pruis or EV? I'd assume all those gay-hippies would hate an SUV driver.

Ohio's national reputation is violence. Sport riots. Race Riots. Craigslist murdering. We even made national news for killing every single animal that escaped from a private exotic animal housing. Yep...

There's nothing I like about Florida other than the Florida State Seminoles.

What about the women?

There are good looking women everywhere. The "hot girl" scene of CA is one of the most overrated stereotypes of the state. A chick being in CA doesn't magically make her hotter.

Agreed. I think people over hype CA girls because there are more of them, given that CA has 38 freaking million people. There's only about five and a half million people here in MN. :P But there are a lot of hot blonde chicks here (thanks to the two million Scandinavians that live here) :P

Killer meaning dangerous? If so, let me take a guess at where you live. It's gotta be...Idaho? :P

Every time I tell someone how I can't wait to move back to CO I get the same response..."what about teh girlz!". News flash, girls exist outside of the state of CA. Also, country girls and snow bunnies > plastic blonds.

Indeed. The media seems to portray that every other girl in CA is made up of botox, plastic, and silicone. Is it true? :P

Not quite but there is an abundance of fake blonds. LIke literally 9/10 girls here are blond.

Even Hispanic and Asian chicks dye their hair blond? Whites are minorty in CA, so there's no way in hell the majority of CA girls are natural blonds.

I'm guessing it's because of a perceived beauty standard. Can't say that I blame them since blond is such a great hair color on a woman. :P

Austin

Province, not state, but I love the long-stretching countryside in between cities and towns. Getting lost in a quiet corner of the middle of nowhere is a wonderful experience. Especially on one of those warm-but-not-hot May/June days.

The only liberal bastion in Texas. I heard that there was a petition in Austin where people could go sign if they wanted the city to secede from Texas but remain part of the US. LMAO, how f*cked up would that be?

Yeah, there was when all the secession crap came up again. I never really thought of what it would be like, but now thinking on it, it would have been insane. The US military would have to protect our borders because the rest of Texas would probably attack us constantly. It would be like the Middle East.

That statement is overused, and we generally don't use the term brah. I always thought it was more a surfer thing. I'll keep it Austin though.

2. Austin

In that particular order

I guess the variety of weather. Maine can be as hot as Florida and as cold as Alaska. And don't forget that white stuff, it looks great until you have to shovel it and when the sand turns it brown.
