Collateral, Tom Cruise is the badass he was always meant to be (except for maybe the cameo he was in Tropic Thunder)
*Tom Cruise is actually one of my favorite actors, I don't care what he is like outside of his movies. He has been in a lot of fun/good films, and even with all of his crazy I hear he is actually still a pretty good guy (especially back in the day).
Even in the bad movies he is in, he is generally the one good thing and can make it redeemable.

As was I; I read a couple of the books and was incredibly surprised when I heard they cast him, as Jack Reacher is supposed to be this huge guy, with muscles bulging looking like--and I quote--"a condom stuffed with walnuts" lol

Yeah great list. Born on the 4th of July depresses the shit out of me. Have you read about the development? I guess the guy it was based on and the film crew had a lot of creative differences (he did not like the liberties they took) but overall he liked the message they made.
