I've applied all over the place since the school year is about to end for me and my first interview is at Mcdonalds.

So yea, for the people who've worked at mcdonalds, what do they ask you during the interview. Also, what's some good interview etiquette?

If you're asked "do you know how to..." or "have you had any experience with..." and the truthful answer is 'no', the correct answer is "no, but I can learn".

Some interviewers will simply ask, "Why?"

You must respond, "Why not?"

Ok, I was just hired at McDonalds in Canada, so here are a few tips.

Smila and look like you want to be there. Don't give them the impression that you're just going through the motions of looking for a job. make them feel that you are really interested in working for them.

In the interview, these are some of the questions they asked me. Have some answers ready:

  • Why are you interested working here?
  • Name a time you have had to take on a leadership role.
  • name a time you'e had to help others with a perticular skill
  • "We serve several customers at Mcdonalds, including those with physical disabilities. What would you do for a physically disable customer?" (I'm sorry, I can't remember how they worded it, but it was along those lines.)
  • "You are cleaning the dining room and you over hear a customer complaining that is meal is cold. What would you do?"
  • "There is a long line of customers waiting to be server. An impationt customer enters the store and walks straight to the front of the line and says 'Tell me about your specials.' What action would you take?"

There were more, but I can't rememberwhat they all were. Just have answers ready for these, and other customer service-related questions, and some team work related questions. And of course, I don't know where you're applying. I can't guarantee these will come up when you go. Good luck.

What? You have to do an Interview? When I worked at McDonalds I didn't even have to do an Interview. All I did was sign an application and I was hired that day on the spot... needless to say I quit. The wiped my schedule for a whole week the day after Smash Bros Brawl came out... needless to say that also I wasn't made since I got to play Brawl for a whole week uninterupted. But I quit and got a better job payimg $17.00 an hour getting a check every week, and will over time I came home with about $1000 the end of every week.

Clean your fingernails, stand until they tell you to sit, thank them for their time twice (once when you go in, once when you leave), sit up straight, do not chew gum, do not wear cologne or anything strong-smelling, do not eat immediately beforehand, say "sir" or "ma'am," and you should be fine in regards to etiquette.

Don't punch he interviewer in the face. Apparently fast food places love to ask you questions totally unrelated to the job during the interview, just to screw with you.

I don't think there isn't a way for you to fail your McDonalds interview unless you purposely say something stupid.

Just remember the key saying "Fake it until you make it"

This is true, and it's also the only sign of honesty you should show in a job interview. If they ask what is your worst flaw, say you're too perfectionist. Say you're the social type, always ready to work with the team. I know what you're thinking, they must hear that every day and they probably know it's bull****. But trust me, in the end, that's what they really want to hear.

I think generally the purpose of interviews for a job like that are to make sure you're not a crackhead. If you're not a crackhead, i'm sure you'll be fine.

Do not forget you must show up in a full blown tuxedo, if you do not have one then I recommend you go rent one immediately.

Kill the Burger King and retrieve his head and present it to your interviewer and you're in.

While you are at it you might as well get some Oakley shades and a limo. Just for business purposes.

I don't remember what my interview was like. I think it was, "Do you want a job?" And I said "Yes," and then I was hired. *shrugs*
