Ok, I was just hired at McDonalds in Canada, so here are a few tips.
Smila and look like you want to be there. Don't give them the impression that you're just going through the motions of looking for a job. make them feel that you are really interested in working for them.
In the interview, these are some of the questions they asked me. Have some answers ready:
- Why are you interested working here?
- Name a time you have had to take on a leadership role.
- name a time you'e had to help others with a perticular skill
- "We serve several customers at Mcdonalds, including those with physical disabilities. What would you do for a physically disable customer?" (I'm sorry, I can't remember how they worded it, but it was along those lines.)
- "You are cleaning the dining room and you over hear a customer complaining that is meal is cold. What would you do?"
- "There is a long line of customers waiting to be server. An impationt customer enters the store and walks straight to the front of the line and says 'Tell me about your specials.' What action would you take?"
There were more, but I can't rememberwhat they all were. Just have answers ready for these, and other customer service-related questions, and some team work related questions. And of course, I don't know where you're applying. I can't guarantee these will come up when you go. Good luck.
