From what I've heard it does work sometimes. Sometimes it can make your hairloss worse and over the long run can be quite expensive.

There's this pill called finasteride/ propecia that helps, you should have him look into that.

Drugs which have traditionally been used to treat enlarged prostates (dudasteride, finasteride) have now recently been approved by the FDA to treat hair loss. Go figure. If it does not cure one thing, it may cure another. As long as the FDA comes up smelling of roses.

well the commercials say it works for 85% of men, so i'd say give it a shot.
