my best friend kissed and I'm still thinking about it.

So I've known my best friend since we were in sixth grade. Our freshman year in high school we were in art club together and we were in the back and she asked me to come closer to her so we were behind a wall. She kissed my cheek and for some reason I freaked out about it. Years later I have come out yet I don't think she knows my sexuality if she does she hasn't said anything about it. Yet I'm still kind of wondering if she's gay as well? She has never really stated that she's liked anyone but her and I talk nonstop for hours and I'm not even sure if I do feel the same way because we're so close. What I'm wondering is- what do you think I should do? Confront her about it? Does she actually feel the same way about me? Or should I just let it be?

How old are you, and if so, have you been in past relationships? This better not be a spam post

I mean you are talking about a kiss that was years ago, and it was on the cheek. Unless we are talking about a different kind of cheek :P I'd say it's fairly safe to assume she's not thinking endlessly about it. If you are both into each other I say give it a go, but you will need to talk to her about it rather than simply hope the conversation comes up one day.

Sad truth but you blew it, dude/dudette/person. She probably never got over it and most likely will never believe in love or any relationship again. Most likely end up working 2 dead end jobs and have 5 kids from 7 different dads. And its all your fault.

I'm not a fan of modern TV, but I've seen some episodes of Bob Burgers and it's not bad. However, I find all 3 kids week characters. The parents and other recurring characters are more interesting.

I think it is intentional, given that her voice actor is a dude. Also one of my favorite characters, second only to Louise.

@mrbojangles25:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the earlier seasons the voice actor was going for a girly voice.

Then in later seasons, it sounds way more like a man.

Maybe. Maybe puberty? I don't know. It was definitely not a "girly" voice, though maybe a bit higher than it is now.

Remember the Simpsons first few seasons? Those were some pretty terrible voices, too.

Speaking of the Simpsons, I've been watching a lot of the 600 episode marathon. And just like I thought, the series to me was better in the 90's.

Alot of these modern episodes have very weak plots(and sub plots)

I mean it was a episode where Homer becomes a great Opera singer by being on his back.

@PSP107: lol yeah, "mid-era" Simpsons were the best, those 90s and early 2000's episodes.

I think the later Simpsons sort of started feeling the heat from shows like South Park and Family Guy, and sort of pushed themselves a little bit in the wrong direction and became something they are not.

tbh I really have not seen a whole lot of recent episodes as I don't have cable (and have not for like 10 years, now that I think about it!) but I do on occassion see a new one; they're not great, but I don't think they're as terrible as people think. That's just the nostalgia talking :P

@redskydays101: Just based on what you wrote, I really can't guess how she feels about you. But, here's an encouraging anecdote. My wife and I were friends for around 8 years before we started dating. She mulled over asking me out for a long time, and I'm glad she finally did. We already knew each other well, so there wasn't much of an awkward early dating period that relationships usually have. Not to say there weren't any bumps in the road, but less of them. We've been together 12 years now (man, that makes me feel old) and I couldn't be happier.

Like I said, I don't know your situation well enough to guess how she feels about you. But you are seeking the advice of strangers, so maybe you should go for it. It's a risk that may work out well.

Yea these modern Simpsons episodes are not good.

As of this writing, the marathon is on season 22 episode 17.

Episode 482.
