Most over-rated / unfunny - Adam Sandler or Ben Stiller?

I don't think either of these guys has ever said anything funny that wasn't written for them by someone else. Both of them, especially Sandler, have made some of the most outright awful movies ever. How utterly terrible was 'Little Nicky'? Stiller seems determined to make a forty year career off of toilet humor aimed at 14 year olds. Am I alone in thinking this, or what????

I never found Ben Stiller funny, ever. It was always the people around him that were funnier. Adam Sandler though I find kinda funny and he can do serious too like in Reign over me.

They both have one very good film to their name (Punch Drunk Love and The Royal Tenenbaums), but Sandler has been in far worse stuff.

Adam Sandler is writing for the wrong audience. I understand most of his jokes but they're not funny because as you said they are written for 14 year olds, unfortunately the movies usually have a rating for adults...

Stiller usually has funny characters, but in other movies (Meet the ... ) he usually just plays a character that gets pushed into things.

Adam Sandler, hands down. Meet the Parents is good, at least, and Stiller has been funny in movies like dodgeball and anchorman. I cant think of anything Adam Sandler's been in that's I liked past the age of 11.

You know whose funny, Chris Rock hes damn funny, no matter what he does, stand up acting w/e

I like Stiller in most of the roles I've seen him play. He was great on Arrested Development, but that was only a minor role. And Tropic Thunder is one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while.
