What do you guys think is the most imitated movie? I think it has to be the original The Matrix movie. That bullet dodging scene was copied in hundreds of movies. Along with other scenes, it is the most imitated movie IMO.
You OT?

Alien and Aliens, a load of elements from both movies basically became staples of Sci-Fi and even horror.
The muffled/first person view from Psycho has been used a lot, as is the idea of sexy woman in compromising position in mortal danger. They need to avoid them bathrooms, dangerous places.
Aliens? Matrix? I've probably noticed it imitated more in video games than movies.
Bullet time is proof of this.
It is a useful ability in video games though.
The Blair Witch Project? So many (mostly awful) found footage horror films now.
I hate these type of movies.
Aye, I can't stand movies that are filmed from a horrible camera that continues to shake like crazy, where you can't see anything and it makes your head spin. Cloverfield comes to mind.
Star wars. Or atleast the simplistic plot in it. Good vs bad, the chosen one and all those stuff..... maybe.

It just sucks that this is what modern day horror films have come to. . .
