Most hated reboot? Why?

- Detroit looks like a city you would want to live in

- Louis does literally nothing with no relevant purpose

- His gun is now a shit stun gun

- He beats the programmed directive by "trying hard" rather than circumventing it

- In the original movie his wife is a bygone memory, here she is a Victoria Secret models who stands around looking slightly peturbed

- The original movie was a mix of Western, Biblical Epic, sci-fi, drama and comedy, all in a soup that seems to work. New movie has none of this

- The new movie makes lots of lame references to reminds you how much better the original was

- Creepy stop motion replaced by Playstation 2 CGi

- No voilence

- No great or memorable villains

- Satire amounts to "this is bad"

- He is a robot to begin with

- Great stand out sound effects (Ed-209 making pig squeals) replaced with generic crap

- Movie opens with Basil Poledouris theme, 99% of the movie uses some generic Hans Zimmer crap afterwords

- Inferior drug shootout scene

- A million other things

Aside from Robocop, which is the worst thing humanity has ever produced, what reboot do you hate the most?

Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I know this applies to nearly every reboot, but it really didn't understand why the original worked.

The original is one of my favorites of all time. I figured to go watch the new one in theaters open minded and it was god awful.

Spiderman because it got a reboot right after it got a reboot.

Prepare for a third, now that Marvel wants him in an Avengers movie.

The new "poltergeist" movie. It's not even out yet and I hate it already.

The new Spiderman for sure. Although after the disaster that was Spiderman 3 I’m not sure if the serious is better off with this new reboot instead.

omg this had to be the worst. want to ruin a movie? put collin pharrell in it. terrible acting and directing in general. even kate beckinsale and a bad part in this movie and she is a good actor!

I liked Robocop 1 & 2, even though the 2nd movie wasn't Paul Verhoeven it still captured the spirit of the first movie. Now, even though the reboot is nothing like the originals, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it'd be. I'm not that upset by this movie though, the Robocop series has been dead a long while for me. This is stlightly better than what the franchise had going for it from Robocop 3 onward, I mean, friggin TV series!!

Terminator Salvation. T3 was meh, but Salvation was trash. Invasion. It was a reboot of Invasion of the Body Snatchers starring Danial Craig and Nicole Kidman. Also trash. 2008 version of Death Race starring Jason Statham.

Holy Shit... I hope they'll somehow manage to make it fun but I am not expecting much right now. Still, will keep an open mind about this.

The worst part is that I read the plot revolves around them busting the ghosts of the cast of Golden Girls.

Hey i'm an OG when it comes to movies, and i know nothing should be able to compare to the old school movies. But ! Oh yeah, but i just saw the first 40 minutes of the new Poltergeist, its definitely scary. I am not a person who gets scared just fyi. I am just saying its scary, i know people who would be terrified and have nightmares just watching that first 40 minutes, especially if they dislike clowns. I hope they don't screw up the end, but so far, so good.

That actually got me curious to watch it. Not sure about the cast but an all-female ghostbusters team might be fun.

If we're talking movies, then the new Nightmare on Elm Street. I hated the new Freddy. If we're talking TV shows, then Knight Rider. Hell, they couldn't even decide on who they wanted as the voice of K.I.T.T. the first few episodes of the season. Awful show.
