Why????? What's next? Is he going to a BET conference with a darker dye, grills, and a huge ass clock chain that's bigger than his head? This can't be for real. I refuse to believe such nonsense!

Which campaign advisor said that a spray-on tan was a good idea?

#5 Posted by DavesAlt (965 posts) -
Need more proof before I jump to conclusions about his intentions.

He's a Muslim. Clearly.
#7 Posted by BossPerson (9469 posts) -

Lol lets see how OT conservatives justify this.

"Obama is black; he has an unfair advantage! Mitt is just evening the playing field"

#8 Posted by The_Game21x (26342 posts) -

I heard about this from Gawker.

It's like Romney is trying to lose at this point.

There has to be some other explanation for those pics. Surely he would not actually dye his face brown to score points with Hispanics.

Someone will come in and claim it's photoshopped. Just wait lol.

I, for one, am reserving judgement. Many seem to just making assumptions at this point.

No intelligent person would believe that a President candidate would try the equivalent of black-face to gain votes. It's just for fun.

That's actually make up. I've seen some people that work in TV....it looks terrible.

Jumping to conclusions already. Typical OT.

They probably will. That's why I am kinda on not sure if I believe but it wouldn't surprise me if he did it for that reason. I just don't see any other reason other than some freaky skin condition going on. But hey he could prove me otherwise.

I seriously doubt that he was trying to dye his face to pander to Hispanic voters. But it's still pretty funny.

It's MOSTLY just for fun I think. The reason the humor works is because Mitt has been such an extreme panderer during this campaign, even by politician standards. ("I love Michigan! The trees are the right height!") You can have just a brief moment where you wonder if this is true before dismissing it.

That's how the make up looks they use on TV. More orange than anything by the way....

Sadly....I don't think it's mostly. Seems to be believed......OT never change.

Hmm, I don't know. The lighting on the stage looked pretty fine. I imagine this is a fvck up on the side of the Univision make-up artists trolling Mittens for fun. :P

I don't know...but to say that he did it to appeal to hispanic voters is absolutely idiotic.

Could be a makeup mistake. Don't know though, so I'm not going to automatically assume.

It really is how the make up looks though. Weather forecaster for a local TV station used to come in where I work in make up and looked just like that.

Actually, now that I think about it I was in some courses in journalism and I remember seeing someone like that on the set during our field trip so you might be on to something.

You gotta be kidding me. Romney has worn make up plenty of times, and it has never looked like this. You can see the difference at his neck.

Are you even listening to yourself? You're making an issue out of someone wearing too much make-up. And you call Romney out of touch. LOL

Pretty sure she is one of the "Black people" you speak of.:|

Regardless, I think the idea was that Romney wearing hysterically overdone, stereotypical and out-of-fashion "black person" accessories would be just as insane and overtly racist as what's being implied here.

On-topic, though: I'm sure no one in politics is this dumb. His campaign advisors surely wouldn't allow him to do something like this, even if he somehow thought it was a good idea.

Yes, this is diverting us from the real issues here, like Obama saying you didn't build that.
