Malaysia Airlines Plane Crash: Flight Reportedly Shot Down Over Ukraine
If it was indeed shot down by Russia (or Ukraine) this is about to get interesting. Also, what the **** Malaysia Airlines?

Sick , but if it was russians this is just epic stupidity.
I smell a rat though and i certainly wouldn't put it past Ukraine to do something like this.
i smell false flag.. probally going to try to blame it on Russia... seems kinda dumb to fly a commercial jet liner over a war zone though.. tough year for Malaysia Airlines
Russian separatists have already taken credit for it thinking it was a Ukrainian jet.

CNN confirmed it on their channel a few minutes ago, too.
Dude on the BBC ticker is saying they don't have the weaponry capable though. So, seems like there is a bit of confusion right now.
17:57: A spokesman for pro-Russian separatists in the Donetsk region told Russia's Rossiya TV that they were not capable of bringing down a commercial airliner flying at 10,000 metres.
17:57: "The portable air defence systems which we have, they work at a maximum of three to four thousand metres. Therefore, it is possible to say virtually before the start of the investigation that the Ukrainian armed forces destroyed this," separatist spokesman Sergey Kavtaradze says.
Looks like it's leaning toward the Russian armed Ukraine (ethnic Russian) rebels. If they didn't have missiles of that size or range though I think that'd lean closer to direct Russian involvement. Anyhow, I think the earlier shooting down of a Ukraine cargo plane needs to be taken into the consideration as to who has what capabilities and who is doing the shooting.

you cannot link to your own or some random dudes twitter and use that as a confirmation.
Before a credible source confirms it like BBC its bad to start rumours.
@Jacanuk: lol I just told you CNN confirmed it. Afor the Twitter link, did you even read it? Because it seems like you haven't. And just last month the separatists were bragging about acquiring a Buk missile system (which the plane was shot down with) when they took over a Ukrainian air base. So either it was shot by Russians or the pro-Russian separatists. From BBC:
"18:36: The route taken by flight MH17 was a well-flown route between Europe and Asia, a pilot tells BBC transport correspondent Richard Westcott. He said that any troops should have known the path was full of civilian aircraft."
Simon Shuster @shustry
Spoke to Ukraine separatist leader Tsarev. Says they don't have the weapons to take down #MH17. Hung up when asked about their BUK missiles

No but obviously it was shot in a joint operation by the CIA and BP to try and control all of Europe's energy now that Russia won't be supplying them. /sarcasm

According to Reuters....a Russian Igor Stelkov says his rebels did it.
Why were they flying over such a bad area
apparently its a common corridor for many planes

Likely because it was in-between their place of departure and destination.
har har har
Heartbreaking
No doubt this is going to make a bad situation, much worse.
it'll probably do the opposite actually, and force the US and Europe to increase sanctions. It may cause Russia to (at the most) abandon the russian operations in the region or (at the least) cause russia to force the separatists to stop being out of control.

CNN hasn't confirmed anything at all, they are just using the same nonsense you are, twitter and "rumours"
Right and i spoke to Obama who said that Murica together with Israel shot it down because the head of iluminati was onboard.
Its disturbing that people run around spreading undocumented rumours.
If the world lasts until 2060 without world war 3 i will be shocked.
WW3 will be the end of mankind. Nuclear bombs and laser guns.
It's amazing how completely opposite some of the stories coming out now are.
Yep, its what happens when even news media are considering twitter a reliable source and no longer care about journalistic integrity but just get stories out, because you can always apologise or change the story later.
Its kinda sad to see.

So, Fallout 3 then?

LOL....another thread...another apology.
Every single news source I'm listening to is confirming this. No mention of twitter or anything like that.
The news is being confirmed by the US: That a SAM has taken out the jet. No word on which side did it, though.
Maybe mistaken identity. I'd like to think that nobody would intentionally shoot down a civilian airliner for kicks.
I agree it's most likely a case of mistaken identity by the separatists, they must of thought it was a Ukrainian military plane. Also why are planes going through that area in the first place? Near suicidal. As well it's apparent now that the Russians are giving the separatists some advanced weaponry and their not hesitant in using it. It's going to be very interesting to see what's the US's response to this will be.

I'd like to see a squadron of B2 bombers take out all the Russian SAM sites along that part of the border with Ukraine along with the Divisional or equivalent HQ of the Russian forces in that area.
The Ukrainian President could then say that it is the fault of the Russians for having their forces there and that the Russians are responsible for what happens on Russian territory. I believe that would send Putin the right message.
Probably won't find out who did for some time if at all. My bet would be separatists thinking it was a Ukrainian government plane. If I'm not mistaken they took down 2 Ukrainian planes earlier this month.

It's a good thing that I'm purely Homo Sapien, which makes me immune to radiation. Homo Sapiens that have DNA from other Human species, namely Neanderthals, lack this immunity.
Well,I don't know if there be someone among my people to sustain a life out of Ukraine's filthy hands, sources believed that the Ukrainian rebels found and tapped the blackbox. Prior to the shot by a SAM, the recorder said that the plane will divert its course to Russia, damn it,Poroshenko. A plane innocently and fully authorized to divert why is it shot down?! We need to create a petition for Ukraine to pay €1b to every casualties
