My girlfriend will be giving me one of her kitties, it's a black kitty named Midnight. I haven't had a cat in a while, does the food cost too much?

My last cat was a stray, we found her on the street. Then she died about a week later... :(

With world food prices soaring, food costs loads.

Fortunately you have been given a cat so I'm sure you can make something tasty out of that.

Go to an outlet that sells it and look for an average price?

It will all be dependant on quality and amount.

I already did. She said she would give me free food, that would be too complicated though.

Cats aren't expensive. THey don't eat much and their food isn't expensive. I think it's like 10 bucks every couple of weeks or something. Unless you feed it wet food. That costs a lot.Jandurin

No...cat food is not expensive. Dry is best.

I have three cats:

Tom (A.K.AK: Tommy, tom-cat) the oldest who is white and has a few grey spots and a gray tail and he's about 6 years old.

Jerry (A.K.A: Jer-Cat, fatty) The second oldest, about two years old, he's grown to become slightly overweight (Weight as much, if not more than my PS3) completely black.

Masako (A.K.A: Miss thing, the psycho) The youngest, she still a kitten and is completely psychotic she gray and coffee with orange paws and the tip of her tail is orange too.

Feeding three cats (Not to mention a 1 year old husky) it costs 7$, but i buy 4Kg bags (8.18 pounds) so it's pretty cost efficient.

But remember, you have to buy kitty litter and litter deodorant. Oh and get it fixed.

Another thread. Said that the lady who slammed a ferret in a door on accident was in shock and fear, which is why she didn't do anything to help it. DivergeUnify is overreacting.

Going to the store and checking out the cat food prices will help. ;)

Don't want to feed it wet food. If you do, you can make your cat fat. Dry food is most likely the best option. If it is still a kitten, getting kitten food would be the best bet and then go up to where it needs adult cat food.

My cat is a main coon, and she's mean. :|
