I actually think this could be possible.

The universe is too large for anything not to be.

Is this why we sometimes feel as if we're not actually 'there' while still being there? if you know what i mean.

Well we are pretty close to making an artificial universe in a computer world. Then if we manage to create a.i. very soon I could see something similar happening eventually. But seeing how we as humans are not all that old, if there was another space bound race that has had millions of years head start I really don't see why they wouldn't have been able to make a realistic world you could be plugged into.

But do I think this is a matrix world? No, I don't.
