• At least nine victims, plus the attacker, are known to have perished.
• Sixteen people were injured, including several children. Three are in critical condition.

It depends entirely on who is behind the attack. As noted in the OP, its the fifth anniversary of Anders Behring Brevik's attack. and this might be related to that.

I was walking the other day and a group of 3 came up to me 15, 16, year olds and said. Hay mate you no any where good to go shooting round here in a field. I felt like saying your asking that on what been happening lately?. But I just said no sorry and walked off as seen as they had the gun on in a carry case what looked like a rifle . I did report it to police though. Just cant believe some people these days.

From what I've seen, we have no idea who did this. Could've very well been a nationalist who feels their country is going to shit. And ISIS will likely take credit, but that doesn't mean we should believe them and then condemn any Muslim immigrants.

Not sure about the first part but Munich police and German TV has repeatedly claimed there are no indications (yet?) about it being an attack by Islamists.

Ever heard of a blowback? a blowback happens when you intervene militarily into countries just as a blowback happend in Libya getting rid of Assad is not going to stop these attacks in Europe. What we should is stop making deals with the Saudis.

Footage shown is claiming in the audio the guy on the rooftop was shouting about Turks and claiming "I am German" with derogatory slurs - so, it might not be ISIS but some far right extremist.

It is over. Munich police say it was one gunman who appears to have killed himself, 9 dead (10 including him).

Can we finally say that moments after it has occurred and no one knows who they are and what happened? No. We actually have to figure out the facts first. Then we can get hysterical if it makes you feel better.

Regardless of who did this ISIS strategy has been brilliant to the point of leaving Europe particularly the EU near chaos. Hard to tackle a problem when there's no solutions for it, more so if the only apparent path seems to be against all what was achieved in post WW2 Europe. Right now seems like we already lost.

That the gunman was Iranian reduces the probability that ISIS was involved, since ISIS is a radical Sunni movement, while most Iranian Muslims are Shia.

What is happening in Germany is frightening. Year after year, an added 2% to their population, and the majority are Middle Eastern refugees, and they have an extremely hard time dealing with these people in a legal and resettlement sense.

Germany needs to uncuck itself before they lose their country.

Apparently his name who did the shooting is David S. Further down it says his name is Ali David Sonboly and they say is German-Iranian and only been living there 2 years. It looks like to me That the right wing is out again trying to that it not terror related. Even witness said he was saying I am German. New tactics from terrorist?.
