Background:grew up in the northern water tribe, trained with master pakku, until he was the top student, he and some of the other waterbenders, head off to fire nation territory, to try and damage their defenses, for the avatar, they are currently in the center of the fire nation, heading to the crater in which the main kingdom of the fire natin lays, they lan to infiltrate from the back to distarct them while the avatar makes his move, but they face many obstacles on the way

Bending abilities: Aside from being a gifted fire bender, he developed a technique to animate fire (flames shaped like animals) using his firebending, this stemmed from his childhood living on a farm and having animals as his only friends. He soon realized that after creating these fire creatures, they would take on a life of their own, and he would not have to focus on them to retain their form. Aside from controlling these creatures effortlessly, these fire animals could also communicate with him and this often came in handy when hunting, he would make a pack of fire dogs and send them off into the forest to smoke out birds and game. He kept this ability to himself because he was mocked for only having animals as friends when he was growing up, and assumed firebenders would think the same.

Look: Heavy-set, raised on a farm so he is no stranger to manual labor, grey clothes with a black cloth belt.

Weapons: A machete.

Background: Master Jeong Jeong discovered him doing some basic bending one day and offered to train him. Xiao Ju was a gifted firebender and learned quickly, but was a social outcast, and had a hard time making friends as he had none growing up. One day other students began making fun of him for his attire and weight so he created a pack of fire dogs and had them chase the boys, they tried bending the dogs away but couldn't. Jeong Jeong heard the cries and went to put an end to the ruckus, only to be surprised by what he saw, and was even more surprised when not even he could bend the fire dogs away. He realized it was Xiao Ju who was controlling them and ordered him to stop. Xiao Ju did as he was told by his master, and Jeong Jeong told him he could no longer be his student anymore in fear that he wouldn't be able to stop him if he ever had another outburst, or if he created something worse than dogs...
