Did anybody watch this? I just got back from it. First LSU game I've been to.
Anyways, excellent, excellent game. All over the place. Wow

As an Arkansas fan I'm not particularly fond of either team, but I would have liked to see Ole Miss win.
I know man. Especially compared to the Purdue games that I used to go to when I lived in Indy. I just love the atmosphere at the LSU games.LSU home games are always a blast (unless you are cheering for the other team)

Not as big of a blast as being at a Michigan game. There's something about begin a part of the largest crowd to watch a football game that makes it magical.LSU home games are always a blast (unless you are cheering for the other team)

You would have been booed out of the stadium. Probably less than 2000 ole miss fans thereDidn't see the entire game. Wish Ole Miss would have won though ;)

I'm laughing my ass off at the Oregon fans crying right now.

I just like how everyone is so shocked by the events of today. Don't get me wrong I'm ecstatic, but I actually picked Stanford to beat Oregon. Now Baylor beating KSU, didn't really see that coming. In any event, if ND loses at USC, and we beat FSU, my Gators could sneak into the BCS title game. I mentioned this scenario last week and no one seemed to give a sh*t, but it just got a little bit closer.
Having said that Ik beating FSU will be a hell of a challenge, and w/o Matt Barkley idk if USC can pull off an upset.

I'm sorry, but I really don't see Florida going to the BCS title. Georgia has already won the East, and the most likely scenario for an SEC team to get in would be Alabama beating Georgia in the SEC champ, facing Notre Dame (if they win out).

I'm not saying it will happen, but if they win out, and ND loses, they probably will get in. It's not as much of a long shot as most seem to think. UF is ranked number 2 by the computers, so that alone would help them, not to mention if they win out it will include an impressive road win against a tough FSU team that would impress the human voters.
ND would certainly drop below them with a loss to USC, and either Bama or Georgia would be ahead of them, with the other with two losses and behind the Gators.
The Oregon-Stanford game was disappointing. Not because Oregon lost, but because of Oregon's poor performance. Was a very boring game to watch. Oregon always does this at big games. They walk in thinking they can't be beat and they lose all enthusiasm when things don't go their way. They need to learn to keep their spirits up even when things aren't looking good.
Perhaps USC will beat out Notre Dame, ND has barely survived some games this season.

I hope so, but with Barkley unlikely to start I doubt it. If he does start and is mostly healthy, then yeah I could see it happening pretty easily actually. ND should have lost to Stanford and Pitt.

Hope you guys beat OSU next week just to end any of that Ap No. 1 talk. The Buckeyes, even if they weren't on probation aren't that great of a team, and imo wouldn't match up well against many, if any, of the current top 10 BCS teams.

I do too. Not only that, I hope Iowa beats Nebraska so Michigan can get to the big ten championship (I realize how slim that chance is :P)Please Log In to post.
