List Three Super Powers You Would Want and Pick One

#1 Edited by CrossFire245 (1060 posts) -

Here are my 3:

1. Teleportation - being able to get anywhere in the world as quickly as the snap of a finger would be beyond convenient.

2. Super Strength - this one is pretty self-explanatory I think.

3. Mind Reading - because it would be interesting to see what everyone is really thinking.

Runners up (for the heck of it): Invulnerability, Flying

Ultimately, I think I would give teleportation the nod...it would just make life a heck of a lot easier. In real-life application, it would be much more helpful than super strength or mind reading...although mind reading could definitely have its perks.

The only one I'd ever need is to be an Avatar of the Red.

Essentially the powers of Buddy Baker but to a much greater level (not only power mimicry, but transformative forms).

Be careful with that teleportation. You don't want to teleport anywhere you can't see, otherwise you could end up teleporting into a wall.

super strength

Invisibility, teleportation, and flying.

I think teleportation would be the most useful. Very easy way to travel. Invisibility would definitely have its advantages at times though.

Excluding cheap shit like the power to do anything you want, here are a few I would pick from:

1. Power to heal people, including myself

2.Power to see the future and alter it (it has to be fully in my control so I can shut it off when I want...for instance if I'm playing the latest MGS game...dont want spoilers :p)

3. Forge's power from Xmen where he can pretty much create any technological device he wants. If not that, then hyper-intelligence.

From those 3, The one I would like the most is Forge's power because with that you can accomplish the other two, but if we are to remove that loophole, then I would probably go for the healing power.

Uninhibited time travel
Eternal youth/immortality
The ability to travel through the multiple universes and traverse stars and planets.

I think I would pick time travel but a hybrid or the three would be epic.

  1. Dragonball ki powers (granted there are masters to learn from)
  2. Superman's powers from stars
  3. Green Lantern ring

My choice is number one for sure. Training is great for the mind along with the rest of the body and that journey would be well worth it.

1) Superpower absorption.

One's enough.

Telekinesis is really the ultimate superpower.

With enough power and accuracy, you could do literally anything - including having any other superpower.

Yup LOL who the hell wants to live like that, unless you don't care about people.

I would take super strength, speed and the ability to fly, basically superman.

1. United States
2. Russia
3. China

Despite its problems, I'll pick the United States for the manifest destiny bonus.

Mind reading would come in handy if you were a sociopath

#27 Posted by MirkoS77 (8100 posts) -

Mind reading, to fly, and the ability to eat whenever I wanted no matter how much, and there'd be no consequences. In fact id stay perfectly fit all the time. I love to eat.

Out of those, flying. I'm tempted to say read minds, but I'd think that'd become incredibly boring and would rob the unpredictability and spontenaety out of people. It would make relationships boring and effortless.

  1. Invincibility = ghost those baddies and whip their asses
  2. Healing Power = ability to heal others and yourself = immortality
  3. Teleportation = go anywhere be anywhere
