just ruined my bro's laptop

spilled water on it, turned it off immediately, dried it with a blow dryer, MADE IT WORSE by melting a couple of keys a little (with the dryer).

it powers on, but not one key works on the thing. Now I couldn't have possibly melted every f****** key off so i figured i would let it naturally dry and hopefully tommorow it will work.

but if it doesn't, how the heck am i gonna get him a new one? i cant get a job because I got summer school, and my bro is also trying to find a job too, and he can't find one.

I have to laptops, but both of them suck (one will not work unless plugged in, which is the one im using now, and the other is a netbook with a screen that rarely works properly) so I cant just give him one of those.

Ask your parents, the only other alternative is getting a job or nefarious methods but those aren't an alternative.

If so you could always sell some games or consoles to repay the laptop. It's the least you could do and it can help you raise the money fast AND Legally.

You broke his stuff so he should have the right to do the same to your gaming rig or console. Sell your games on ebay or gamespot and do the same with other stuff you own until you get about $300. I know that sounds harsh but you have to face consequences.Hammstray

Sounds like just the keyboard, I think a repair shop can fix that for less than $300.
