Long video but it's great and worth watching. I was pleasantly surprised at the beginning that he grilled Snowden as much as he did.

They interrupted that Congresswoman to go to breaking news about Justin Bieber? MSNBC needs to be burned to the ground.

lmao yeah that was hilarious/sad. The look on his face lollllll
I also like that he actually asked Snowden tough questions. I also like that he made it very clear you have to know how to deal with the masses when conveying information. I hope the debate he wants actually happens before June 1st.

Yes.

Obama may not reauthorize it. He doesn't have anything to lose by not doing so.
So I finished watching this, and yeah it was a really good interview. It's clear Snowden did not read all of the documents before putting them out in the public sphere (though that was obvious as there were millions and he would still be reading them and we wouldn't have heard about this yet), and it was good that John pointed it out.
I don't think he deserves jail time personally, and I definitely don't consider him to have attained traitor status any more than the guy who leaked the documents about Pearl Harbor. Kinda sucked to see Snowden watch people say that despite this rather large scandal a lot of people either don't remember him, or what he did. The attention span of America is simply amazing sometimes.
