Is this a good deal?

I got offered a 2012 65" Panasonic VT50 3D plasma TV for $1,500 CAD, and I was wondering if you thought it's a good deal.

Even if it's considered as an amazing TV, 1500$ for a 4 years old TV is too much

Ummm, you are talking to an owner of a TC-PU50 Panasonic Plasma. I love it. But for $1500 perhaps you can find a new TV with comparable performance to a plasma.

I don't think it's worth it. Been browsing around a bit recently and they have same quality or better TV's by different brands for less, they're newer too.

Too much. You should get it for $1200 at least. You can get a 4K 55 inch for $1200, so you figure it out from there. The cool thing is, that it has 3D, but still its a bit much.
