is there a way to preview code you have written in a web browser?

im just learning html and css and was wondering if there is a way i could preivew it right out of Notepad++

copy the content in notepad->save notepad file with extention .htm and u can preview the output of the code and if u want to view the source then view->source

Like others have said, save the HTML as a .htm or .html file. You can open the file with your internet browser if you want to see how it looks in each browser (I know when I started, things would sometimes look different in FireFox and Internet Explorer. I don't know if that's still the case). Good luck!
