Sooo the school year ended and I have remedial classes for math. Is math really that hard? No! I have remedial classes because I don't pass my assignments I did good with my quizes and other stuff but assignments are dragging me down :(

I just wrote my Calc IV exam yesterday. I think math is really fun and I can see where it can be challenging. It is something you need to keep practicing. You will understand the material better, both conceptually and in performing calculations, and do better on assignments. I always take learning new concepts slow. I go over them for a while before moving on to calculation problems.

As dull as my response is, "practice, practice, practice!", I found in my experience it is really the only way. Lastly, you could work with someone on the assignments. Bounce ideas off each other and compare calculations. Hope this helps! Good luck!

I never really liked math tbh but I always managed to get good grades. Just put some more effort into practicing and finishing your assignments.

Same here. I fvcking hate assignments and projects. About math itself I always find it much easier than physics since math is pure but physics is not only theories but is also the appliance of math.

To be perfectly honest as important as it is to do your best and strive to achieve at school....you will grow up and find your fit...regardless of how important this stuff feels at the time.

I was always useless at maths, I hated maths, I didnt apply myself in order to get better. I failed. However I am still alive and kicking. Calculators are absolutely amazeballs. Every office has them for a reason. So many people are bad at maths. Honestly I am so bad at maths, my brain freezes looking at anything past +-%x

I love math (not to mention I never got an A grade in it). If you love math you're probably never gonna succeed in getting high grades in it. If you hate it then you might have a chance. That's the curse of the maths.

If you love math, you'll dedicate more time to the subject and get higher grades.

If you hate math (like me,) you'll likely not focus on most of the work and do crap on tests.

I would rather do math than English essays. Math problem has consistent answer and I dont have to read those books. I prefer class that rarely rely on reading.

Same here.I would rather do math over English. I hate English.

Well, you understand the concepts it seems, maybe you just hate the tedious nature of homework. Talk to your teacher, see if they can assign the homework at the beginning of class so you can just bury your face in your book and get the homework done in class. Lucky for me I had teachers that would let us know of our homework early and I did just that, plus I was blessed with a lot of quiet detention to get it done if need be.

Math is much nicer than say... English class, or geography.

Math has one answer, and there's no need for opinions. English teachers often give lower grades to students who don't share the same beliefs or opinions as their teachers. I've also been penalized marks in geography for "not coloring the water/land the 'correct' colors" despite being colorblind.

1+1 will always =2 regardless of bias.

You read things about inherently being better than others.

Maths is fine until the numbers disappear. Algebra and all that is nothing but witchcraft.

Do more practice problems if you're having trouble. Check answers in the back of the book or look for solutions online. Alternatively, use khanacademy.

Since when did the alphabet need to get involved with numbers?
