me and my mates are setting up a joint acount for a project for xbox live, and we need some fall back to make sure no 1 can tamper with anything on out account, so can we lock the account to only work on 1, or all of our computers, so no 1 else who has the account can change the password or anything, i was thinking something along the lines of IP locking or something like that, i dont know the technical terms but you know what i meen i hope lol

I doubt you can with hotmail, but I'm sure you could probably do it with an address provided by your ISP.

But as long as you have a decent password, I don't see why you'd really need to restrict the accout to one computer.

Nope. The idea behind webmail is to be able to access your email from any computer after all.

I read the terms and conditions a while back and it stated that Hotmail was for non commercial purposes only.
