OK, I just read that Wiki Link, and apparently where I live the age of heterosexual consent is 12, the age of male homosexual content is 21 and there is no age of Female Homosexual consent, it's always allowed. Seriously, WTF???
Not really... think about it.. 4 year difference isn't really that much. If you will acctually stick with the relationship and wait for her to grow up and not rush her into anything then its perfectly fine.. but if you just want a one night stand kind of relationship then thats just wrong.

If you have to "wait for her to grow up" before getting physical, you shouldn't be any sort of romantic relationship.

You can date her but you can't have sex with her. You also obviously need her parent's permission if you want to date her, otherwise I think it can be seen as kidnapping, not exactly sure about that though.

It's not an opinion issue. It is illegal for adults (18+ in the US) to have sexual relations with minors (17 and under in US). Whether legal action will actually be taken against it is another story...

Oh, I didn't know that. Though, I had no reason to believe that a police officer wouldactually hold an 18 year old for doing it with a 17 year old.
What state do you live in? Age of consent differs between them. In fact, its 100% legal for a 16 year old girl to be dating an old creepy (just creepy) guy. Usually, the AoC is around 16-18, but Oregon handles it oddly.
