So OT, what do you think of wearing sunglasses when the sun isn't shining? If it makes me look cooler then I say it's okay.

Sunglasses are proven to make a person look cooler. On the other hand, wearing sunglasses at night is a blatant tell that you're TRYING to look cool, which is, in itself, uncool thing to do. People who TRY and look cool blatantly are uncool. Therefore wearing sunglasses at night does NOT make you look cooler. Therefore, my opinion is that, despite the fact that while sunglasses, like smoking, normally make you look approximately 33% cooler, you can't really get away with it at night without looking like a douchebag.

I can see people wearing sunglasses indoors if they're sensitive to light. Not at night however.

It's like elvis collars or tucking your pants in your socks. Definate no.

I did it for a month after I got corrective eye surgery. But that's a valid excuse in my opinion since it was doctor's orders. People doing it to look cool usually make me laugh. Especially if they are doing it while driving.

I don't think it makes anybody look cool. Stupidity is the first thing that comes to mind. And this goes for people who wear sunglasses inside at any time of the day.

I can understand if it's at a mc donalds or something in the middle of the day, you run in stand in like for 2 minutes, leave the glasses on, then leave the restaurant.

No. Only MC D and A&W. It's a faux pas to wear them into a burger king.

I sometimes keep them on on my way to class when I've entered the university building, but that's because they actually contain correcting glasses (or however you call it in English; I see sharp with them and unsharp without them) and I can't be bothered to switch to my normal glasses in such a short timespan.

If you're hung over then it's alright to wear sunglasses indoors, that's the only good excuse I can think of. I have yet to meet someone egomaniac enough to wear their sunglasses at night. :P

I wear those fancy-pants transition lenses that turn into pseudo-sunglasses in sunlight, so for the first minute or so that I step inside a building, I'm still wearing sunglasses technically. In any case, I can kinda see wearing sunglasses indoors for certain situations, but not really for night time, unless you need glasses to see and can only find your prescription shades.
