I like Boardwalk, but it's not even a contest. Breaking Bad mops the floor with it.I've been meaning to start watching it, my brother told me it was good. Â I'd be surprised if I found anything to be better than Boardwalk Empire right now though.

Guess I'll have to give it a watch. Â I don't even know what it's about to be honest. Â I like the early 1900's settings, even late 1800's. Â I feel so much more connected to a show or movie from that era than I do watching Star Wars or Alien. Â So add that to how good the story in Boardwalk is and it's tough to beat for me. Â
Â
After "Lost" Â I pretty much refuse to give any show a chance until I can watch a couple seasons at a time. If I'm going to be that dissapointed again it will be over the course of a couple months, not 6 years lol! Â I didn't start Boardwalk until this summer. Â
Greatest show of all time? Please I can think of several reasons why Parks and Rec is the superior show on televison right now.
I found it to be ok, but kind of got bored of it by the third/fourth season. Jesse just started getting whiny and annoying. chrisrooR
Did you stop watching it? I would say the 4th season was easily my fav of what I have seen of the show (seen all the episodes on netflix so I am up through the first half of season 5). God the last few episodes of season 4 were so amazing and things got so damn intense. Season 5 has been a bit of a letdown for me after that amazing 4th season....
And as for the topic, BB is easily the best TV drama I have ever seen BUT I say that as someone who normally doesn't care much for TV dramas and gravitates alot more towards comedies.
I think so, not nearly into things like The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones as much as I am Breaking Bad.
Never seen it before. Don't know if I plan to ever watch it, TV isn't really my favorite form of entertainment.Aquat1cF1shMe neither, but TV is okay to watch when the complete seasons are available and you can watch any time.
This season edged that one out. The past episode sealed it for me. That one is close, though.[QUOTE="sammyjenkis898"]Yes, and it's having the greatest final run for a series I've ever seen.Aljosa23

Go on.
1. I personally get more satisfaction out of each and every episode.
2. More well written female characters (I'm not even a Skyler/Marie hater)
3. A more diverse and likeable cast of characters
4. Has alot more to say about modern society
etc.

Did you like the recent season? Not arguing against your opinion or anything. Just wondering.[QUOTE="DharmaMember77"]

No, I'm talking about Parks and Rec.Never seen it. The amount of people that bring it up in conversations has grown to agitate me, resulting in me having zero desire to watch it.limpbizkit818
That just sounds like you gave the show an unfair chance. Â "They like it, they're talking about it and I can't join in. Â That must mean the show really blows!"
If people started talking about a tree that grew money all the time I'm sure you'd have a desire to go take a look see!
I'm on season 3 and loving it. With that said, I like Game of Thrones more, it's just on another level. Also, don't get why Homeland seems to be ignored around here, it's a really good show.

I watch Homeland, Â Just finished the second season this summer. Â Is the third starting this fall? Â I'll probably wait till next summer to watch it, as long as I know that didn't get cancelled
