If you really have to lie about such a small and unimportant thing. Isn't it easier to just ask a friend to act as a spouse on the phone?

You can hardly find anything on Google whether be it your favorite character and not encounter at least one pony crossover of your favorite character. It's so damn annoying and stupid, I don't mind certain crossovers IF they work but seriously not everything needs ponies.

As a man I wouldn't know about the cost of makeup. Do they make bargain brands or is that stuff no good?

I guess its more expensive to be a woman, though the exception is that men probably spend more on their vehicles.

They have drugstore brands which would be the closest things to bargain brands. However, like most things, quality goes up with cost. Same goes for makeup, maybe even to a higher degree. Higher quality makeup is made differently, with different materials, and lasts longer, is better for you, and has a better look to it. Also cosmetics are one of the few things in our society that never lowers its cost, or goes on sale. Anything labeled as cosmetics whether it is a surgery, hair treatment, or makeup etc, the cost will never go down.
It's tough. :(
