For myself,

1. The Simpsons - For years and years I've always come back to the Simpsons as my favourite show of all time. The humour is classic and defined my childhood, so I might be a bit biased here.

2. The Sopranos - Most amazing story and dramatic acting I think I've seen in a show.

3. Game of Thrones - The sets, cinematography and acting is all top notch.

4. The Wire

5. Breaking Bad

Honorable mentions: Arrested Development, South Park and Walking Dead.

[QUOTE="Granny_Spanked"][QUOTE="Rhazakna"]The Wire The Sopranos Deadwood The Shield Boardwalk Empire

Great list, glad someone finally included deadwood, and I always preferred boardwalk empire to mad men.

I agree completely, Boardwalk blows Mad Men out of the water (and Mad Men is an excellent show). Deadwood has been forgotten over the years, which is really sad. I think it's because it didn't get the opportunity to finish its run. Hell on Wheels is alright, but it's child's play compared to Deadwood.

Which is why Mad Men won Best Outstanding Drama FOUR years in a row. Mad Men >>>>>>>Boardwalk Empire.
