watch as no social conservatives say anything about this as they've all become vaginas on this site.

Pretty sure the vast majority of the "21st century" world still has limits or bans on SS marriage

Which is quickly changing. Of course those theocracies that are stuck in the 1300s will remain stuck in the 1300s.

I was hoping for something more exciting. If that's the mark of the 21st century, then what will the 22nd century be? Super-gay? It's all people talk about nowadays. I need a drink.

About damn time. Too bad a lot of the remaining states have a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage

#8 Edited by Shadow4020 (1951 posts) -

One by one, it's only a matter of time.

#9 Posted by GOGOGOGURT (4470 posts) -

When our country implodes because of our political indecision, no one is going to care about gay marriage.

When our country implodes no one is going to care about a lot of things, like Gamespot, for example. But until that happens we'll keep talking about gay marriage on Gamespot.

Good for them. Thought they would have passed this earlier. Did it get held up at all?

Yeah. The state Senate passed back in February (if I remember correctly) but it's been delayed in the House a few times.

Boy, is this site dead.

"Does a thread really need to be made every time history is made?"

You're in the middle of the modern civil rights movement and you're tired of hearing about it. This generation, I swear.

Boy, is this site dead.

Does THAT need to be said every time this post is made?

Besides that--it will always be news.

I wonder in 30, 40, 50 years which countries will still be holding out. I can see Saudi Arabia fighting it for decades.

Supposedly it's the murder capital of the US.

To the topic, it's good news.

Far from it. There are actually around 40 cities in the United States with higher murder rates than Chicago.

Yay, my state is in the news! Glad there's still some good decisions being made.
