i just recently bought a new ipod nano and by the way it is awsome. but when ever i put a cd into itunes i have to type in the names of the song and artists and all of that stuff. is there a way to make the names show up? thanks

be connected to the internet and they should show up automatically.

If it's a burned CD, you have to type it in yourself. If not, then go to iTunes support.

i am connected to the internet is there anything else i could do to get the titles and names to show up? P.S i am not esing burned cd and i am on a laptop.

I've noticed that some of the newer CD's I put in then the song titles will show. But some of the older ones wont show for me.

Maybe the automatic search isn't on. Go to Edit -> Settings... -> Advanced -> Import  and then click "Find CD track automatically from the Internet"

I might be a bit wrong in my explanation since my iTunes is in Norwegian, hehe, but I hope it was translated correctly.
