He's terrible. His lyrics suck, his flow is terrible, and he mumbles while he raps. He's had a couple alright songs, but for every good one, there's 20 bad ones such as Candy Shop or Heat. 50 Cent is one of the main people killing hip hop.

50-cent is a completely superficial rapper. Yea his ryhmes are good, and he is popular, but he's not artistic in anyway. He says what he knows will sell records, he acts in a way that will sell records, and I bet if you actually met 50-cent you'd probably think he was boring. You'll never hear 50 joke about himself, or do any type of experimental songs that might damage the image he's made of himself.
50-cent is basically the beatles before they went into their drug phase.

Ludacris is a better rapper than Kanye West. Also Ludacris is mainly humourous, his braggadicious lyrics aren't meant in a serious way usually. I agree though, 50 Cent is terrible.

50 Cent is a versatile rapper, and I think that's why he gets so much credit. He may not be the best rapper with the best lyrics, but he can do a hook(chorus) better than almost anyone in the game right now. He can make catchy songs that really grab your attention. Listen to Get Rich or Die Tryin'. He does the hook to just about every song.

Im glad someone said it, EVERYONE on this board who will post stuff like "I dont like him..." or "hes got no artistic talent..." is biased and will not give him a chance. Hes got great lyrics and a great flow, great beats and if you like 50cent and Gunit there is a bucketload you could listen to.

Just because someone says they dont like him doesnt mean they're biased. albeit that most people probably are but dont lump everyone in the same category. i dotn like rap but im not gonna make fun of or belittle him because he's making more money than i probably ever will.
