One of the best rpg's. You should get off the computer and play it right now.

Quite honestly, i found nothing special about it. Now FF 8, that game was life changing for me.Def_Jef88Really? Its the other way around for me. I've never finished FF8 because I got bored with it. I thought the whole story started out great, then about halfway through it all changed completely and I was letdown.

I know what you mean, at first FF8 seemed amazing but then it changes dramatically with the GF's erasing your memories and such...still I stuck with it and it was awesome. The animations for the GF's were great.
FF7 was incredible though, the graphics didn't bother me much but I enjoyed it very much. When you watch Advent Children you really appreciate it unlike someone who hasn't played the game. I watch it so many times with people who never played the game and I still think I enjoy that movie more because I played the game. Awesome game indeed...I mean...they still sell brand new strategy guides!
I thought I was in GGD for a second. Threads that are off-topic for Off-Topic are always amusing. ;)
Having said that, FF7 has aged poorly, especially if you've never played it before. It's worth playing, but the graphics and the story are more or less rubbish. Most of the characters are pretty boring too.
Still, before it goes totally bonkers the story is somewhat interesting, and it's got the classic ATB battle system if you're into that sort of thing.
