I don't have friends OT :( and this makes me sad

What do i do ?

Realised today just broswering through facebook, seeing all the people having fun in the park with their mates or people just doing things :( and there's me forever alone at home, i haven't done something with anyone since christmas and all i did then was go to someones house for the night. 

How do i friend OT?

If you're still in school and have no friends, it's ok. Quite a lot of people haven't found themselves yet so don't fit in anywhere. That's ok. Once you find out who you really are you will find people who are similar. 

Just keep your head down until you leave school (or college) and friends and girls will come naturally.

Pretty much things like this. If you don't naturally make friends, you're either really unlucky with the people you come in contact with, or you're just destined to be a shy loner forever if you don't manually put the effort in.

I struggle to make friends in university, but I do have a couple dozen high school friends I still talk to.

I don't have a girlfriend or any friends for that matter. Yeah, it's depressing when I see lots of people around me who are in relationships and look happy, but it's not like I'm gonna die if I don't get any friends. Being single does have perks. :P

op i don't know what it's like to be that lonely, but just go to some events and concerts. 

I only have a handful of friends.

It takes a lot of effort to make and maintain friendships and that's exactly why I don't have many friends.

If you want to make friends you have to talk to people and make an effort to to hang out with them.  Usually a place where you see the same people everyday like school or work is a good place to start. 

If you're doing something fun invite people to go with you.

Although I am not a fan of social networking, it is a pretty well accepted fact that humans are social animals, and believe it or not need social interaction for reasons other than productivity, even if that is the overall purpose by your perception. Furthermore I believe the TC was not envious of posting pictures of himself doing things with people, but actually envious of the "doing things" part...

I certainly hope you take the time to be friends with them. When I do volunteer work, I take the time to know the people I'm working with, be it picking up trash by a stretch of road or helping out at the local church or college. People are usually tentative the first few times. But, the more we work together, they start opening up. 

It's just like my classes in college. When I first started my classes here, I didn't know anyone. After a semester, I started noticing other students who have the same classes I do. We started getting together at lunch (at the mall) and at the computer lab, exchanging notes and ideas. They're now my core group of friends in college even though I see them less because of my schedule.
