I do not understand why electronics are so cheap

in us and europe and australia and not in asia or other most parts

i mean for 400 i could have own a ps4 on its launched and i could have owned every game stuff i wanted for that matter, i am getting used ps3 games off ebay for like near 1000 thats why i got less then 10 games since i bought the ps3 4 months ago

It sucks in Australia. I'm from Canada and it's cheaper for my family to send me stuff.

I guess you would have to look at your local laws. Are there any tariffs applied to imported goods? Are you a great distance, geographically, from where these goods are produced that would result in higher costs of shipping to your location? Are there excessive taxes levied by your government that would cause these high prices? There are a great number of economic factors that could be at play.

@thegerg: i did not said 1000 for ps3, 1000 rupees for ps3 used games, read carefully.

i would have made $150 daily had i been living in us, by a week i would have own a ps4 and a 3ds, just like joke. nd still had money left for food n clothes

whereas a ps4 here costs over 40000

1000 rupees for a PS3 game TC? That's like $16 a game. That is a fantastic price. And TC you didn't mention the currency. Type carefully.

Man, it would be so nice if brand new games were $16 in the US. As a 21 year old college student busing tables part time for $7.25/hour + tips, $60 is a lot of damn money to me.
