Go by the dew point. Not a meteorologist, but it can be high humidity but it doesnt mean it feels humid out. Our dew points were about 70ish, dipped to 50's lately but going back up into the 60's.

That's whgat I was going to say. Dewpoint is the real measure as to how "thick" it feels outside. Once you hit 70 or higher it's very noticable. Typically down south we are right around 70 all summer. When it's below 70 it really makes a difference.
When you factor in humidity, yes we get quite a few. Without humidity highest this year was 35 (42-43 with humidex). Greatly depends on where in Atlantic Canada and some places frequently get all four seasons in one day lol
