None of those are rights, perhaps gay marriage, but that was never a right in all 50 states.

Stem Cell Research, Union Benefits, and Affirmative Action are definitely not rights. No one has the RIGHT to affirmative action. Please check the US constitution, where it defines our rights.

That's been the case ever since the first election, ever, in 1789.

Also, the Electoral College isn't something inheirently evil. It was designed to defend against a dictator, not help it.

Also the court can decide the validity of an election if challenged.
