How weird is this.

So my friend is pretty much dating this high school girl (she's 16, and my friend is 22), and they were at the New Years Eve party at my friends place and they are the usual couple with making out in front of others.

But anyway, is weird to you guys with the age barrier and how she's still in high school and he's old enough the go to bars?

dont you Americans can drive cars at that age?

To be honest I don't remember anymore, for what I remember it's as soon as your 16 you can take a permit test and 6 months later you can take the drivers license test.

The age gap is fine but the ages are not.

It's not that common but if she's one of those 16 year olds that physically look like 20 or sth then it's fine I guess. Not that creepy.

Pretty much. It's the age of consent that makes it seem weird. I would date a girl who is 5 years younger than me at max though.

Not really, It only seems weird to me that anyone would think it's weird.

Welp.... thats a substantial gap, BUT.................. some of these girls even at 15-16 look and act (and even have experience... if you know what I mean >_> ) like 19 year olds.

But a 22 year old guy should not be trying to get with a 16 year old.

I actually know someone in that exact same situation, he's 22 and she's 16. Really crusty considering he thought she was "hot" since she was 12...

I find it to be more stupid than creepy, and stupidity is not a crime.

Pretty weird. I'm 21 and I couldn't imagine dating a 16 year old girl. I'd feel like a disgusting creep.

EDIT: I would if she was attractive though. For a few weeks maybe...
