Almost a year ago I injured my back playing tennis(was good at it too), turned out to be a hairline fracture. So for that summer I wore a backbrace, did no exercise, started phyiscal therapy later, still doing it, but it isn't working as well as I wanted it to. I've lost almost all my fitness, I can run now, though I will still feel pain at times. I get VERY tired so easily, it's not even funny, and I have to admit it, I'M WEAK.

So now I just want to start training, starting small and working my way up. Like a 30 minute to 1 hour routine, I want some tips from people here who might do this a lot. How much should I start lifting?  Should I do a long run/walk in my neighborhood? I know it's a LONG process, but I want to know what I should be doing to slowly getting stronger by next year. I used to do cross country(did it for 2 years) before this came, I'll be running there, but I just need to get healthy again.

Maybe talk to a professional trainer or physical therapist...

I'd say definitely start by at least walking, the more activity you do the better. As for how much you can lift, I'd probably take it easy if I were you and not push yourself too hard, just start with light weights and move up as you feel confident with the weight.

Yes. I believe talking to a professional would be much better than a off-topic gaming forum.

Words of wisdom right there.
