If I really had to get over it and move on, getting angry is how I'd deal with it I guess. anger is like a master cleanse for me, once I've been angry it overrules the hurt.
Mm, none of my previous breakups were that bad. Even if the relationships themselves sucked, I walked away without regrets. I basically just hung out with my friends and went on with my life, but if I have to break up with someone I truly love, then it will be unbelievably painful. So until then, I can't give a real answer (and I hope I won't have to anytime soon.)
Do some activity that you specifically enjoy. Oh, and pig out. Like, your free to eat whatever you want and spend as much money on yourself as you want until you are a little bit better.
I hang out with friends and discover new healthy hobbies. Anything to keep my mind off of it. My skateboarding, weightlifting, and reading seems to spike up when it happens. I also try to learn more about myself etc.
Sounds bad, but this. Then again, I've never been the type to mope after a break up. Just try and be professional about it. And when you can, get your f*** on.
Get really drunk, then record myself going on a big angry rant about how i'm better than my ex, then post it on youtube. Then the next morning, I have a hangover and an embarrasing video to deal with, takes my mind of things.
