Migraine and cluster headaches cannot be "cured", you must ride them out. Sleep in a dark room and large doses of ibuprofin works wonders for my GF who gets cluster headaches. Still hell to go through for her though. Really makes me wish psilocibin was legalized.

All i can think of is 1 Advil. Also try laying on your side without twisting your neck. I get migranes at least 4 times a week. These tips work for me.

at the exact moment that you were typing this topic I'd assume that you weren't under a migraine attack at that moment so I suppose what your asking for is a cure for never having migraine again, and not just to simply ride through or temporarily get rid of the pain whenever you get migraine attacks in the near future because when my mother and other relatives suffer from migraine they could barely stand up let alone go to the internet and search for cures . . . but sadly AFAIK there is no cure for migraine because it has no organic basis or in simple terms there isn't really anything causing it, some people have it some people don't, if you're unlucky enough to be one of those people, sadly you'll just have to bear the burden . . .

Spin around as fast as you can.

No, but when I have a migraine I can't even look at a computer. I can't even look at anything. I turn off all the lights and lay down. Take ibuprofen, maybe put a bag of ice on my head, and close my eyes.

The best thing for migraines is several hours of sleep in a dark, quiet, cool room.

If you keep getting migraines, get a referred to a neurologist. You may need medication. Triptans can work wonders, but they're vasoconstrictive and not for everyone.

I can't believe no one suggested this yet. Smoke some weed, whenever I get headaches/migranes ( Which I rarely get anymore since I started smoking herb ) within 5 to 10 miniutes after finishing smoking the pain goes away. Has worked everytime without fail, I promise you will see good results. Anyway, good luck with your migranes dude.

a massage around the neck region helps me a lot, relaxation and slow breathing, a warm shower if available, and whatever over-the-counter pain relief is at your disposal, I once read that a majority of migrates actually migrate from muscle tension in the back of the head from the neck so if there's any tension there I'd try working that out, maybe some Icy Hot on the around the back of the neck and shoulders could help too

For many people with migraine attacks, triptans are the drug of choice. They are effective in relieving the pain, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound that are associated with migraines. Medications include sumatriptan (Imitrex), rizatriptan (Maxalt), almotriptan (Axert), naratriptan (Amerge), zolmitriptan (Zomig), frovatriptan (Frova) and eletriptan (Relpax). Side effects of triptans include nausea, dizziness and muscle weakness. They aren't recommended for people at risk for strokes and heart attacks. A single-tablet combination of sumatriptan and naproxen sodium (Treximet) has proved more effective in relieving migraine symptoms than either medication on its own.
