Batman Begins was better than The Dark Knight?

I personally think TDK was better however I really enjoyed Batman Begins. And I think TDK tends to be over praised. Mostly because of the Heath Ledger factor. I believe the movies are almost neck and neck. What do you think?

What say you, OT?

TDK. Batman Begins was still a great film, but Ledgers performance really put it over the edge.

And no it has nothing to do with the fact he died.

I watched Dark Knight before Batman Begins. I find it hard to pick on over the other.

Sometimes it's DK, sometimes it's BB

BB was better imo. TDK was a tad overrat-ted if you ask me, not nearly as life changing as people say.

I view them as just about equals with TDK slightly edging BB.

I think Batman Begins would have been more popular if it had a more recognizable villain. I'm not saying Ras Al Ghul is a lesser villain. I'm just saying he's not as iconic as The Joker, Two-Face, or even Bane.

TDK slightly edges out BB. But only slightly.

I think Ras is a much more interesting villain than any in the Batman universe. Bar Riddler.

I think The Dark Knight is considerably better. I think the themes come together better, the stakes are higher, and the villain is simply fantastic.

BB, while a great movie, simply doesn't come close in those three areas.

I liked Batman Begins more, I think it was better on how they actually portrayed Bruce Wayne as a young man and everything that lead up to him becoming batman, they really fleshed out all his backstory,

Also the way they incorporated Scarecrow into the movie you thought him and falcony would be the main villain for most of it then Liam Neeson returns.

The Dark Knight was awesome but i dont like the way they rushed the two face bit, they should have left the movie on somewhat of a cliffhanger and made him return in the next movie or atleast made TDK abit longer so they could incorporate more of two face.

But yeah

Batman Begins - 9.4/10
The Dark Knight - 9/10

I think TDK was long enough. Any longer, I would have wanted to leave.

Nah, just movies. They always try to squeeze in as many crap as possible. Rendering the movie to unrealistic measures of consistent action. TDK was awesome.

I prefer The Dark Knight, but that might be because I forgot what happened in Batman Begins.

No one should believe that.

I do think the second improved upon the first, but it may have set up the third to be a bit overhyped. Idk, just my preference.

Ra being the movie had kinda no importance in the movie. the real villain was liam nelson's character. ra was like just there in the movie.

Liam Neeson was Ra's al Ghul, he's a very important character.

When it comes to superhero movies, the second is usually better since it does away with all the boring origin storying in the first half. Though BB's origin story part was badass, I think TDK far eclipsed it in terms of awesomeness, acting, and some fanservice.
