Do you like those bell peppers or tobasco sauce?
Oh, and is it true that ketchup helps to cool down spiciness in your mouth or is that just a rumor?

To give you an idea of my tolerance, I eat 2 to 3 raw uncooked Thai pepper or Bird's Eye Chili with my meals that are often already cooked with the Thai Peppers. Just as a comparison, they are on the Scoville Scale of 100,000 while the Jalapeno Pepper is at 6000. Not bragging or anything but it's just a common thing to eat it with your meal OR cook it with your meal in Southeast Asia. I prefer to eat the green raw & the red cooked. The green ones are crispier to bite into while the red ones seem to be sweeter & soft which seems to be better for cooking.
I've had the Habanero Chili which is at 250,000 & I'll admit it kicked my ass but I loved it. It's fun to blow your mind on occasion but to eat it as part of your regular meal seems out of control. I'll stick to my Thai peppers for now.
How about this? I eat habenero peppers raw sometimes for fun. Ridiculous but more power to you. I've never encountered a raw Habanero (I haven't see them at the grocery store) but if I did, I wouldn't mind trying it when eating lunch or dinner but probably not by itself. Is there a particular color that you prefer? I know that there is the black Habanero, orange Habanero & a milder yellow-orange Habanero. Took a cuisine class at school once. We did a chapter on chilis & Habaneroes & my favorite Thai chili was included.
I love spicy food, so my tolerance for it is pretty high. Had a spicy meal half an hour ago and earlier than that.

Hmm...I've only ever had black habeneros. I'll have to try some orange/yellow-orange types. :DPretty high, I eat food from the Middle East and India on a regular basis. So that should pretty much answer it Lol.
Not everyone lives off spicy food. O_O :P Seriously though, jalapenos BURN my effing throat...it hurts!!! :x:x:xI would say pretty high, people who think jalapenos are spicy make me laugh.
