Hopes And Dreams For STAR WARS EPISODE VII?

What sort of things would you like to see most in the upcoming Star Wars film?

My hopes and dreams for Episode 6? The death of Darth Sidious and the fall of the Empire aided by Ewoks.

I think he means VII.

For the upcoming flick I'm expecting a huge inter-galactic conflict involving jedi, the rebellion and sith. I want a badass sith lord to come out of nowhere and wreak hell on everyone, even chewey.

I want to see chewey mutilate some slack gambler that owes Han money. (IDC why just make it happen)

I'd like to see some younger Jedi in training and how Luke Skywalkers character arc interacts with that.

I want some lightsaber batlles, space battles, and maybe another war like from phantom menace with tanks and blasters and whatever.

Obviously, I just wanted to be a smart ass :P

I kind of don't want to see the original actors. Don't get me wrong the original trilogy was great but I don't think you can recapture the magic. I'd rather they moved on with new characters and maybe just mentioned a connection.

I hope it's not at all like the second trilogy. Ewww!

I think it's borderline to hope it doesn't suck, I'll just stick with that, hoping for anything more will lead to disappointment.

At this point just knowing that George Lucas is NOT at the helm gives me great hope. JJ Abrams usually writes pretty decent sci-fi so it should at the very least be good. It can't be any worse the Episode I and II.

I kind of want to see more of the aliens species that exist in Star Wars.

A better movie than the prequel trilogy. With, you know, a story, characters that grow over the length of the film (in more ways than just age) and an actual antagonist that threatens the galaxy with impending doom.

Like the Yuuzhan Vong.

Jedi Counsel meeting with Yoda, Obi-Wan, Qui-Gong, Windu, and Luke.

I want to see who's the first of the original cast to break a hip trying to do a stunt. My money's on Harrison Ford.

I hope we won't see unnecessary lens flares. Hopefully they come up with a solid script where FX will make the space opera believable and NOT a FX eye candy fest. I wouldn't mind if they confirm Jar Jar Bing and all his descendants died without any possibility of being cloned.
